Microtransit will not replace traditional bus service – it will provide trips within areas underserved by fixed-route service.
Here’s how microtransit works:
– Use an app to book your ride. Pick your start and end point anywhere in the service area.
– A vehicle will pick you up wherever you are and take you wherever you want to go in that same zone.
– Along your route, the vehicle may pick up other passengers on different trips.
On agenda: Select Board update, READI – Rebranding and Charge Updates, People’s campaign and other local organizations, Williamstown READI Awards.
