“Buddhist Practice in an Age of Ecological Crisis” talk at Williams on Wed, 11/20, 7pm
Williams College invites the public to free talk by Karin Meyers, visiting assistant professor of Buddhist studies at Smith College, titled “Buddhist Practice in an Age of Ecological Crisis.“ Meyers will discuss how Buddhist thought & practice help cut through cognitive dissonance in regard to the collective existential threat of our climate & ecological crisis, as well as how Buddhism is evolving in the face of this crisis.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Griffin Hall, room 3.
