Call for WPD Chief Interview Panel Volunteers– send letters of interest or nominations to Town Manager

The recruitment for next Williamstown Chief of Police will begin shortly.  Town Manager Bob Menicocci is seeking volunteers to serve on the interview panel of this recruitment. Depending on the response to the recruitment, interviews are expected to take place in four to six weeks and require a commitment of one to two days.

Bridge Closure: the Rt 7 Moody Bridge over Hoosic River & Railroad will be closed to cars & pedestrians for 3 days.

The Rt 7 Moody Bridge will be closed starting at 6pm, Friday, Sept. 16 – 6am, Monday, Sept 19. The detour around the closed bridge will follow Route 2 (Mohawk Trail) –> Cole Ave. –> N. Hoosac Rd. –> Bridges Rd. –> Sand Springs Road.
