Public invited to “A Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols” at Thompson Memorial Chapel on Sat, Dec. 4, 7:00pm

Modeled on the traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols first held on Christmas Eve in 1918 at King’s College Chapel in Cambridge, England, the service music is performed by The Williams Concert and Chamber Choirs under the direction of Noah Horn, Visiting Artist in Residence & Director of Choral Activities.

Free to all. Public encouraged to bring an item of non-perishable canned or packaged food for local emergency food pantries.

Dec. 4-10:   Non-Perishable Festive Food Drive! Please donate cake, brownie and cookie mixes, frosting, baking supplies, and dried fruits to benefit the Williamstown Food Pantry.

Dec. 11-17:   Children & Teens Gift Drive!  Please donate NEW unwrapped toys, crafts, books, and games to benefit Berkshire Community Action Council.

Dec. 18-24:  Warm Clothes Drive! Please donate NEW coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and mittens to benefit North Adams Veterans Services..

“Holiday Shindy” on Sat, Dec. 11, 10am-5pm, at Zion Lutheran Church, Pittsfield

A magical tradition, the Shindy showcases regional artisan vendors.  Meet & watch local farms & makers weave, sew, preserve, whittle all will be set aglow in the magical splendor of a new location, The Common Room at Zion Lutheran Church.  Admission is $3 for the general public. Children under the age of 12 are free. Located at Zion Lutheran Church, 74 1st Street Pittsfield MA 01267.  Masks required for admission, additional restrictions may apply as the city mandates.
