Martha Jones, legal & cultural historian, shares the 1st chapter of the history of birthright citizenship, through the story of George Hackett, a black man born in Baltimore in 1807. She reminds us that Kamala Harris & Barack Obama's birthright citizenships were challenged.

Window on Williams – Dwelling of the Gallant – The Women of Williams College

June 2015 marked the 40th anniversary of the graduation of the first fully coed class of Williams College. Williams takes this time to acknowledge the women in the class of 1979, the women who came before them as transfer students and partners, as well as the faculty and staff who supported them, including Kathy Sharpe Jones '79, Ginny Suss '99, Cortney Tunis '04 and Nataly Garzon '14.
