The Community Preservation Trust heard FY23 Application presentations from the Williamstown Affordable Housing Trust, River Lofts at Cable Mills, Store at Five Corners Stewardship Association and Williamstown Meeting House Preservation Fund.
Cable Mills makes early presentation regarding plans for affordable housing apartments as part of future building project. CPC urges community to submit application for CPC $ for coming year allocations. (Historic Preservation; Affordable Housing; Recreational; Land Conservation categories)
CPC does some future-thinking on Affordable Housing, Open Space, Historical Preservation, Recreation. They vote to allow the 3 CPC warrant articles be part of a consent agenda, should the Town Moderator create one.
CPC unanimously approve $200K to Affordable Housing Trust; $50K to W'town Historical Museum. In a 5-3 vote, they award $56K to Rural Lands Foundation
