Holly Crane is a coach and educator who has been working in the fitness and athletic industry for over a decade. Holly is the current Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at NYU. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Williams College and an MS in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. In addition to coaching, Holly also studies, teaches, and writes about athletics and fitness. She is particularly interested in the ways that cultural narratives about gender, bodies, and identity are created, reinforced, and sometimes contested within these spaces.
Mike Curtin '86 joined DC Central Kitchen in 2004 and, drawing on his hospitality experience, has significantly expanded the Kitchen’s revenue-generating social enterprise initiatives. Under his leadership, DC Central Kitchen’s Fresh Start Catering expanded from traditional catering to include contracts to provide locally sourced, scratched-cooked meals to schools across Washington, DC.
