Strengthening Police & Community Partnerships: “Raise Your Hand & Be Heard” on Sat. March 12, 8:30am-3pm at MGRHS.

W’town residents & those who work in W’town are invited to come together to discuss how the police & community can work cooperatively and participate in the “Strengthening Police & Community Partnership (SPCP) Program. The W’town SPCP project was initiated by Interim Police Chief Mike Ziemba to support avenues of communication & trust between the community and the WPD.

The SPCP is a structured program where diverse community members come together to engage in dialogue, work to identify issues that impact the police-community relationship & develop solutions that best fit the community. SPCP dialogues are adopted & implemented by local communities, with support & facilitation from the Dept. of Justice’s Community Relations Service.
